Plans?

Is there any plans on completing this? I'd love to be able to directly add books/update to my fbreader book network directly from calibre. I notice that the two branches are different plugins, and both of them have issues:

The master branch refuses to load if I don't remove the ® from the plugin name in __init__.py.
Neither plugin adds any UI. There's no prompt to add buttons, and there's no new buttons available for toolbars/menus (unless I'm missing it?)
Each plugin logs an error regarding a missing python module:
