There seems to be a lag, when using the menu in the Archlinux theme.
I have about 6 Archlinux entries and one for Windows, using the Archlinux theme (which looks pretty, btw!).
When grub loads, the menu is quite unresponsive... veeeeeeeery slow. Any experience with that?

As my /boot/grub is on my /, I'm loading the theme from /usr/share/grub/themes/Archlinux/theme.txt and have skipped the part of copying all the files to my /boot/grub directory.
Should work the same, right? I mean... after all it's loading... it's just veeeeeery slow, switching from one menu entry to the next.
Maybe it's because of the icons?
I'll try copying the stuff to my /boot/grub directory later on... see if things change.

I get an error message (see here) when I select the menu item instead of waiting for it to timeout and boot the default.

I hope when you get some free time you can please make the themes to support different resolutions for wide screens.

For starters 1280x1024 would be nice, and maybe a few other common wide screen resolutions.

I like the grub themes for Arch very much. Next to my "regular" installation of Arch Linux I run a second minimal Arch system that I use for XBMC (home theater) only. I think it would be nice if the XBMC logo could be included in the theme as an icon in the same style as the others.

Hi, I saw the pixel size of the icons is 32x32. I can make my own icon and can put it in the icons directory.

How and where do I reference to the added icons? I have Android-x86 installed, and would like to have the custom icon shown during the boot menu.

First let me say these are really nice themes, thanks for creating these, and I hope if you have some free time in the future you might create some more for Arch...

I noticed when I'm using Archxion if I don't let it boot automatically and move the up and down keyboard arrows and let it sit for a few seconds, then later highlight the kernel I want to boot and press enter on the keyboard, when the window pops up to begin booting I get this message;

error requested to scale to a size w/ a zero dimension

If I just let it sit and boot automatically this message doesn't appear...

the font in theme Archxion can not loaded, how to make it work?

also, the font file is not corrupted:
