brazil-cities-scrapper icon brazil-cities-scrapper

Scraping project of cities in Brazil and download of these images. There are two sources of data for Brazil cities used in this project, one of them being an IBGE excel table of all cities in Brazil and the other is a wikipedia table with all cities in Brazil that have more than one hundred thousand inhabitants. In the case of using the first data source, the data are extracted from the file through the pandas library. In the case of using the second data source, the data is extracted from the wikipedia page through a scrapping process using BeautifulSoup. After obtaining the names of cities and federative units, a scrapper made in selenium is used to download images of the cities from google images.

First software project of the computer engineering degree at INSPER (college in Brazil). The concept was to create a backend of any site in Python using the Flask library, the group chose to create a site for sharing files between users, the backend in Flask uses MySQL as a database for user information and Firebase Storage for file saving. The frontend template was taken from the internet (https://www.w3schools.com/w3css/w3css_templates.asp, start page template) beacause the main project ideia was the backend development in Python.

First Data science class project done in the first year of the computer engineering degree in INSPER (college in Brazil). The ideia proposed by the teacher was to do an exploratory analysis of data which were determined to be HDI and two others indicator chosen by the student, In this case the two others indicators chosen were corruption index and percentage of internet users. The analysis should be made both individually and together also adding an historic analysis.

Second data science class project done in the second semester of computer engineering degree in INSPER (college in Brazil). The concept behind the project was to fetch some tweets regading a previous chosen company and with these tweets the final goal was to be able to make a classfier that could classify the tweet as relevant or not to the company for this a NaiveBayes sentiment analysis classifier was made and tested with some extra tweets not used in training. The chosen company was Rappi (deliver company in Latin america) and the tweets were pre-fetched and saved to excel files.
