sysobject.ids's Issues

Cisco SG200-50 50-Port Gigabit Smart Switch

Hi,

Could you add this model to sysobject.ids?

  # snmpwalk -v 2c -c public -Cc ciscosg200 SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0
  SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.6.1.88.50.1
  # snmpwalk -v 2c -c public -Cc -On ciscosg200 SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0
  .1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0 = OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.6.1.88.50.1

Model

SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: SG200-50 50-Port Gigabit Smart Switch

Attached MIB files: MIBs_Sx200_v1.4.1.03.zip

Best regards.

Add EnGenius access point to sysobject.ids

Hi,

My EnGenius access point is right now know as a "computer" in FusionInventory.

It seams to have a conflict for the SysObjectID 8072.3.2.10 .

If possible add the ID
8072.3.2.10 EnGenius NETWORKING EAP900H

I have modify my own sysobject.ids for the moment.

INTEL NUC D33217GK

Hi,

Please dismiss this post if it is not proper (I mean in term of issue/request.)
I am a new user of FusionInventory and I have been tasked to run it on all the computers in my company.
I have had no issue with it at all, until I ran into one while trying to run it onto a Intel NUC D33217GK.

When I tried that, it created 2 new computers, even thought I told it to link it with an existing computer within Glpi.
I suspect that it might need to be added to this sysobject.ids, but as I am not sure, again, if this is the wrong place to ask, tell me and I'll be on my way.

Again, I never had any issue with my script running the FusionInventory before.

Best Regards, thanks.

Invalid device classification (UniFi as computer)

I have Ubiquiti Unifi UAP-AC-M-Pro network devices that are detected as Linux computers instead of network devices.

snmpget -v2c -c public "your AP IP" 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0
snmpget returned: iso.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0 = OID: iso.3.6.1.4.1.8072.3.2.10

I modify your sysobject.ids to something like:

Is there another solution? Thanks

Issue with Ricoh SP 3600DN

Hi, I'm having issue with the printer in the subject. via SNMP it returns NULL for whatever OID requested explicitly.
I was getting error in two specific part: MEMORY and PAGECOUNTER

As memory and the snmp script fail while translating the bytes into MB. then I have other issues with the page counter, here the output of the agent and of snmpwalk.
to fix the first error in SNMP.pm I did add:

use Scalar::Util qw(looks_like_number);
and then I did change this routine as

sub getCanonicalMemory {
    my ($value) = @_;

    # Don't try to analyse negative values
    return if $value =~ /^-/;
    return if !(looks_like_number($value));

    if ($value =~ /^(\d+) KBytes$/) {
        return int($1 / 1024);
    } else {
        return int($value / 1024 / 1024);
    }
}

for the second error I'did something similar as the issue , Iguess, was related to the fact that it did give back an answer also for the oid specific for Kyocera and Canon while the correct OID (as the default one .1.3.6.1.2.1.43.10.2.1.4.1.1) was then skipped
I did use a similar approach as snmp.pm in the Hardware.pm (around line 750).
I'm not a programmer so maybe the code could be cleaner.

foreach my $key (keys %printer_pagecounters_variables) {
        my $variable = $printer_pagecounters_variables{$key};
        my $value;
        if (ref $variable->{oid} eq 'ARRAY') {
            foreach my $oid (@{$variable->{oid}}) {
                $value = $snmp->get($oid);
                last if (defined $value && looks_like_number($value));
            }
        } else {
            my $oid = $variable->{oid};
            $value = $snmp->get($oid);
        }
        next unless looks_like_number($value);
        next unless defined $value;
        if (!isInteger($value)) {
            $logger->debug("incorrect counter value $value, check $variable->{mapping} mapping") if $logger;
            next;
        }
        $device->{PAGECOUNTERS}->{$key} = $value;
    }

here the errors I was getting and the snmpwalk of the printer

Pantum printer

Hi all,

We have a Pantum M7100DW printer, SNMP is not detecting its serial number thus not importing it, by enabling the add by MAC address rule it was detected but only the model was populated, no page satistics or toner levels, or even serial number. Below is the walk output and the snmpget command from the readme, hope we can make it work!

> snmpget -v2c -c public "serverIP" 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0

APs have been discovered but unfortunately, they were assigned to the computer category, and as a result, I cannot use the inventory task, because it only works for printers and network devices.

Some D-Link and TP-Link devices

I've D-Link switch DGS-1100-24, snmpget shows it as
SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.171.10.134.7

There is a TP-Link wireless AP EAP225, which identifies as
SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.11863.3.2.10

Dell Wyse with FusionInventory

Hi,

I'm trying to inventory Wyse devices on FusionInventory 2.6 & GLPI 9.5.3
I tried NetDiscovery, but it seems to be found as printers.
Then, it inventorize only few information that aren't realy reliable :

  • Name
  • Manufacture
  • Sysdescr
  • Internet (port and network)

Does anyone knows if it's possible to fully inventory Dell Wyse devices (known as light devices with ThinOS installed) as if we installed FusionInventory agent in it ?

The thing is that we can't inventory and do not have to serial number as, for example :

Name/OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.714.1.2.6.2.1.0; Value (OctetString): 651A4C6JV72 (is the serial number)
