I have encountered a problem and I don't know how to solve it. I am not an Android developer

npm seems unable to download from this link during the npm install command npm install react-native-unity2
https://nexus.fuse.ninja/repository/npm-registry/typescript/-/typescript-4.6.4.tgz
I tried the link in my browser and it won't load there either, I'm just using a home network - no fancy proxy or VPN or anything of the like and I do all development on this home network.
Is there a ways to have these files stored somewhere other than a private website in case the worst should happen and the site went down as people wouldn't be able to use this react native implementation either.

Hello, I have a strange behaviour showing a frozen unity player (sound plays) when I navigate to UnityView screen for the second time.
vs ViewProperties dose not work in React Native 0.70
Error occurred when I changed unity iOS settings Target SDK from simulator to device
I'm trying to integrate Unity into my React Native app and would like to be able to rotate the screen from landscape to portrait and vice versa when opening Unity. I tried using some libraries but ran into the problem of only being able to rotate for a very short distance before returning to the original state. I also tried writing code to rotate the screen in Unity but encountered problems when switching from landscape to portrait mode. When you then swipe the status bar down, the screen automatically returns to landscape mode.
Please let me know how I can handle the above problem?
When running Unity as a standalone application, I observe a memory usage of approximately 300 MB. Similarly, when running React Native as a standalone application, the memory usage is around 200 MB. However, when I integrate the two platforms to create a unified application, the memory usage ~ 1 GB.
I am eager to optimize the memory usage in order to achieve better performance. Could you kindly share some insights and recommendations on how to address this issue? I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide to help me optimize the memory usage in the integrated application.

Hi,
I am eager to try this, however I had a question: on a template default react native app, the size is around 20Mb or less.
1- how much does the unity template add to the final built apk size?
2- does it affect the loading time of the app? even if the unity is in a different screen than the home page for example?
a default rn app would load within a second, can we expect the same when integrating unity?
The libraries in question for my specific case are ARCore.
When I export the project normally (without artifacts), it works fine and all of the AR libraries are linked up. When I use artifacts, the app works fine, but for whatever reason the AR portions don't work. I have a hunch it's just anything everything besides unity-classes.jar that's not being used.
I have copied the libs folder into the unity/android/ directory, as well as added the artifact. Any ideas what could be causing this?
When I was running from Xcode iOS app crashed and when I running app with react native command It successfully run but There is one issue
My unity view is not loaded only white screen showing
I want to close unity app/player when user press the back button to go to home page of react app. The problem is, unity player keeps running in background. I want to permanently close/kill it when user using react part of my app
Hi, I got some issues related to duplicated classes when building Android release app. Can you suggest me a solution to solve it? Thanks.

After the integration of unity exports/project in the React Native project, when we generate the apk using assembleRelease/assembleDeploy, it results in generation of 2 different APKs
Could you please suggest a solution to get rid of 2 APKs
How do we alter the configuration of the react-native-unity-2 package to cancel out of the generation of unity project APK

When trying to run example, I am getting the following error (running yarn in particular):
error "../react-native-unity2-1.0.0-rc.tgz": Tarball is not in network and can not be located in cache (["/Users/username/Downloads/react-native-unity2-main/react-native-unity2-1.0.0-rc.tgz","/Users/username/Library/Caches/Yarn/v6/.tmp/20d13a16f969169ae0c0ddc9dcf510ec/.yarn-tarball.tgz"])
I also couldn't find any file named react-native-unity2-1.0.0-rc.tgz
Following these steps:
https://github.com/fusetools/react-native-unity2/blob/main/docs/unity-artifacts.md
At step 6, its unclear where I should copy the unityframework over to.
My file dir in case anyone needs it:
Thanks for the help
There are 2 parts in my app, the first one is built with React Native (for forms, settings, reports,...) and the second one is built with Unity (for games). Users can switch between the 2 parts when using the app. It works fine on iOS but not on Android.
The Android app crashed when going from React Native to Unity the second time, the first time has no problem.
Steps to reproduce:
Please help me to find the root cause to fix it.
Thanks.
Hello, i'm facing a strange issue, i installed the library following the getting started and checking the example app.
Android is working just fine everything runs as expected.
But ios doesn't, it just shows a black screen with no errors and it is also logging the "Ready!" message.
The project is running on expo and I'm testing on the latest ios version, the unity project is the same as example project
Hi Guys,
