Great article and example repo! Learning a lot :)
I am new to makefiles andI had some issues when running tests.

If you have a failing test and then run make test

It would cause a makefile error 1.

This would not do the clean-test, resulting in stale builds. Any updates to the codebase would not update the docker build.

To fix this manually, you would have to run make clean-test after a failed test run.

I was wondering if this process could be automated in exec-test
