How about it with a simple template managment system. It means the possibility to set a path in config.php of oil - to the several pathes to the template / view files

If you have your own set of template files, you can already overload the ones in the package, like any other file in a package. The generation code is such a mess that it needs a rewrite, which is on the books for Fuel v2.
