This should probably be part of the main set of options. The public and private path of a file is also often different, so you should allow users to supply the public and private path prefix's as options, appending the public path prefix when supplying the web-accessible path to the file, and using the private path prefix when saving the file.

This line stuck out to me as incorrect. I don't think "uploads" should be interpolated in there. Perhaps that's supposed to be the configured upload path?

There is a CVE registered as high criticality in mini_magick 4.5.1: CVE-2019-13574.

The froala-editor-sdk gemspec file specifies a requirement for mini_magick ~> 4.5, which does not allow for compatibility with the patched version of mini_magick, 4.9.4.

Do you have any plans to maintain froala-editor-sdk with newer versions of mini_magick?

Somehow installing this ruby SDK requires a very old version of your great wysiwyg-rails – 2.6.6.

Is this a hard requirement or did somebody forgot to update the Gemfile or the corresponding lock file?

Would be great to use the latest and greatest version of wysiwyg-rails together with the ruby SDK!
