chess3d's Issues

Contact

Hi, give me your email or telegram, I want to buy this project from you. I need your help, I am ready to pay for it.

Chess game

Hi, I couldn't figure out a way of contacting you besides from raising a new issue... I hope you don't mind. The Chess3D game you've currently posted is against AI only, would you be able to give me some hints as to what I would need to modify to create a 2 player version? (Or perhaps both?)

Thanks

ps. Great job on the game, it looks very nice and works well too!

onClick handlers positioned incorrectly

FYI: The black circle with white outline represents the location of my mouse pointer, as I was not able to quickly take a screenshot with the mouse pointer visible.

When trying to do a mouseclick like selecting a piece, or moving it, there is always a constant offset, from where you would expect to click to select a piece, and where the onclick handler is actually placed.

When selecting a piece:

When attempting to move a piece:

And this offset changes based on how the camera is oriented, for eg,

Not expecting a fix or anything, as I can see this is a 7 year old project.

Have the onclick handlers been like this since the beginning or is it probably due to updates to the rendering library that was used when making this project?

And if you had to guess, how would you one go about fixing this?

Possibility to Choose Classic Chess Pieces?

Hi
The game is really cool! Incredible Graphics and the chess engine is tough.
But can you add the possibility to choose classic chess pieces. I think most chess players will be more familiar wit the classic pieces.
Regards.
