I recently added new subcommunities to the directory file (freifunk/directory.api.freifunk.net@498cb17). I also removed the metacommunity "franken" and replaced it with "nuernberg".
In the map "franken" is still visible - i expect because the communities get "cached" by the collector.

There should be a way to remove obsolet communities.

the collector should be able to create a summarized directory, e.g. grouped by the field meta community in the following format:
