foundation-compass-template's Issues

Template doesn't compile out of the box

I had to make the following changes:

  • In config.rb, add 'app' as a prefix to the add_import_path
# Require any additional compass plugins here.
add_import_path "app/bower_components/foundation/scss"

# Set this to the root of your project when deployed:
http_path = "/"
css_dir = "stylesheets"
sass_dir = "scss"
images_dir = "images"
javascripts_dir = "javascripts"
...
  • Add a _settings.scssfile within the scss folder.

Is this just happening on my system or a general flaw?

Foundation installation

The instruction

bower install

do not install Foundation, but this do

bower install foundation

Maybe you should add a bashprompt to explicit describe, what instructions require root/sudo prividledges?

Does update bower work at all?

I know that Foundation has been updated after I installed it, but when I run bower update no files seem to be updating:

bower foundation#*              cached git://github.com/zurb/bower-foundation.git#5.0.2
bower foundation#*            validate 5.0.2 against git://github.com/zurb/bower-foundation.git#*
bower jquery#>= 2.0.0           cached git://github.com/components/jquery.git#2.0.3
bower jquery#>= 2.0.0         validate 2.0.3 against git://github.com/components/jquery.git#>= 2.0.0
bower modernizr#>= 2.6.2        cached git://github.com/Modernizr/Modernizr.git#2.7.1
bower modernizr#>= 2.6.2      validate 2.7.1 against git://github.com/Modernizr/Modernizr.git#>= 2.6.2

Is there another way to update to version 5.0.3 (and other later versions for that matter)?

Thanks.
