Working environment for late seniors and cognitive challenged users

Late seniors and cognitive challenged users encounter difficulties when using common desktop systems and require assistance from their caregivers. They are also easy targets for cyber criminals. This project aims to provide a working environment suitable for such users and improve their security protection.

Protection levels are based on user mental ability

Very restricted - for users with moderate mental impairment

1. Browsing limited to whitelisted webpages
2. Emails only from/to whitelisted senders

Moderately restricted - for users with light mental impairment

1. Disabled text input on webpages (searches allowed)
2. Red-alert for phishing emails
3. Caregiver alert on reply to phishing email

Lightly restricted - for general senior users

1. Red-alert for phishing websites
2. Caregiver alert on filled-in form on phishing webpage
3. Red-alert for phishing emails
4. Caregiver alert on reply to phishing email

Students can contribute to the development by their bachelor's and master's theses
