PixelDrain

This application was my very first Java project ever, it has very buggy and inefficient code.

A newer version of the client already exists but is not open sourced yet

Application for taking screenshots and other files and uploading them to a web server for sharing. You can download the latest version from GitHub: DOWNLOAD. To install extract the zip archive to some directory and run PixelDrain.jar

This software was developed on Linux but due to some bugs in the JVM it works better on Windows

Add support for taking photos with webcam

In Cinnamon desktop environment, a 'JavaEmbeddedFrame' appears on the panel

Some say this is a bug in Cinnamon, others say it is a bug in the JVM

They say that downgrading to Java 1.6 fixes it, but PixelDrain uses some Java 1.7 functions :[

The tray icon is a random image from Google image search

Under XFCE, the interface does not use the system Look And Feel but uses Metal instead

Getting a little tired if all those JVM bugs on linux

Add drag and drop support to the GUI for direct uploading

Add a dropping area between the instructions and close button.

Currently when the user edits the configuration it is not being saved in any place.

Java uses way too much RAM when idle

This is a bug in the JVM, I can't do anything about it

When taking a cropped screenshot, there is no indication of what area you have selected

I need some help here, I have no idea how to add graphics to a JFrame

Add settings for custom keybindings

When cropping with multiple screens, the second screen turns completely black
