We need market orders.

The front end could possibly scan orders and bundle a market order into ONE smart contract submission.

I accidentally pasted in an address into the amount fields. crazy I know -
maybe just detect presence of 'x' and throw an error.

Temporary solution to Ether Delta's dust problem.

Problem: People set expiry dates on orders of a million years. This clogs the order book with useless orders.
Solution: Create a reasonable, max expiry date.

Web3.js 1.0 introduces WebsocketProvider. We may reduce backend dependencies by receiving trades and fund transfers directly from the blockchain. Things to investigate:

• Are filters granular enough to filter events by user and token?
• Can we fetch previous transactions?

The ticker should be searchable by listed token name and contract address.

Like the chart/map for backend

Users must be able to add custom tokens. The user must input token contract address and token name to add the token. The application must store the token information on the client-side and include the custom token in the ticker list.

Current frontend is entirely unindexable.
The problem is mostly that Google (and other search engines) don't index hash navigation URLs. We need to devise a solution that would allow the frontend to be indexed by search engines.

Options off the top of my head:

• Move to a server that allows for pushState navigation and generate actual links to token trading pages or produce a sitemap based on known tokens. Cons: requires moving away from GitHub Pages to some extent, requires a separate backend.
• Use react-snapshot, pre-render known token pages. Cons: refresh behaviour on custom tokens may differ from the known tokens.

Scan the user's MetaMask for tokens they have added and automatically add them to the exchange token list. Maybe higher weighting in sorting?

about N days ago I sent to the balance Forkdelta SS (sharder) token. I did it not through the site, but straight through my TRUST wallet. Tokens came to your address, as shown in the transaction. But on my balance forkdelta SS TOKEN shows 0.

<@411675720012660755> No, as long as the amount of gas limit you put down is more than what the miners require to mine your transaction, you're OK. That's not the reason you had a bad transaction. Your transaction broke. There's two transactions the always happen when you deposit to the smart contract. There's an "Approval" and then a "Deposit". Your transaction had an "Approval" and an etherscan tx showing the transfer of the tokens to the smart contract, but the "Deposit" half of the transaction never happened and it's supposed to send the tokens to your account. That's what happen. Nothing to do with gas limit or anything else. Please don't ask me to help anymore, because there's nothing I can do. I've clearly laid out all the information you need to discuss this with the proper person. You need to contact the owner of ForkDelta.
