I have been trying to make an account for the last few days and I have been receiving this message: "Sorry, the email or password you entered is incorrect. Please try again."

I have tried several emails and several password combinations to see if it was a formatting issue. I have also tried clearing all cookies and trying over. Separately I have asked colleagues to attempt to create an account and everyone has had the same issue.

It would be great to get access to this data, is there anything else to try?

We should aim to provide basic API support for python 2 users. I suspect the lack of compatibility is driven by the use of python 3.6 f-strings.

The getpass() input for authentication pipes to stdout. This could be handled in stderr (as well as the remaining logging config) per this guide.

Make sure both logging and getpass() are using consistent outputs. Could probably also handle the username input via getpass(), too, instead of through input(), to stay consisten (as managing the stream there seems relatively arduous compared to swapping modules).
