Ogg plug-ins for Adobe programs
Hi, Please support the OGA format.
Download Sample OGA.zip
Telegram uses opus coding format for its audio files.
PP version 11.1.2 (22)
The plugin doesn't seem to work with the latest version of PP. Once I set my Export Settings and hit either Queue or Export, results in the same issue where Premiere thinks it is done encoding the file after just a second, but actually it is not. LMK what info you need form me to troubleshoot. Thanks!
I'm stumped. I've got ogg, vorbis, opus, and opusfile linking fine on both Mac and Windows. I try to add FLAC and it works as expected on Mac, but breaks on Windows. I get the standard link errors like:
1>Ogg_Premiere_Import.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: virtual bool __cdecl FLAC::Decoder::Stream::set_ogg_serial_number(long)" (?set_ogg_serial_number@Stream@Decoder@FLAC@@UEAA_NJ@Z)
1>Ogg_Premiere_Import.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: virtual bool __cdecl FLAC::Decoder::Stream::set_md5_checking(bool)" (?set_md5_checking@Stream@Decoder@FLAC@@UEAA_N_N@Z)
1>Ogg_Premiere_Import.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: virtual bool __cdecl FLAC::Decoder::Stream::set_metadata_respond(enum FLAC__MetadataType)" (?set_metadata_respond@Stream@Decoder@FLAC@@UEAA_NW4FLAC__MetadataType@@@Z)
1>Ogg_Premiere_Import.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: virtual bool __cdecl FLAC::Decoder::Stream::set_metadata_respond_application(unsigned char const * const)" (?set_metadata_respond_application@Stream@Decoder@FLAC@@UEAA_NQEBE@Z)
I've also tried making my own FLAC projects from scratch and importing the FLAC source right into my main project. I get the same errors each time. Help!
I've set up a branch called "flac_linkproblems" if anyone wants to take a look. In the meantime, the Windows version of this Ogg plug-in just won't have FLAC.

Hi,
I have the plugin installed (Premiere Pro CC 2015.3) but I can't get it to export more than five minutes of audio. The export window says the estimated filesize is 28MB, which is about what I get using Sony Vegas Pro 10. However, the resulting file is actually only 5MB and exactly 5 minutes long - the one I'm working on today should be 30 minutes and 36 seconds. I'm trying to transition from Vegas to Premiere Pro, but this is kind of a deal-breaker as I need the HTML5 audio for a client website. Any ideas?
Thanks!
I've tried the Webm plugin an it works perfectly but after installing the Ogg plugin and selecting Ogg Vorbis (or Ogg Opus) in the Format list the "Export Video" checkbox is unchecked and greyed out.
OSX Yosemite 10.10.4
Premiere Pro CS6 6.0.0
When using 5.1 ogg files, they are imported incorrectly. The correct mapping is:
Left Front -> Left
Right Surround -> Right
Center -> Left Surround
Right Front -> Right Surround
Left Surround -> Center
LFE -> LFE
I don't exactly know why this is, but once I figured this out the audio made sense again.
Hello,
Just started using the Theora plugin with AME on the Mac and found it worked great for shorter videos. But once I started trying to compress longer ones I noted a whole computer slow down.
Upon investigation, it appears that Media Encoder increases it's RAM usage until it uses all available RAM on the system (at this point slowing down the whole computer) when encoding with the Theora plug-in. Thus long video encodes will chug along great, until the computer runs out of RAM.
I can provide more information upon request.
1.encode same media file to theora from last bug, custom 640x480, uncheck export 2.audio since it's a time lapse.
3.encode it again, this time renaming the file and taking off the _1 off of the filename.
4.choose to replace.
5.start queue.
actual: hangs and windows kills the program (detecting a forever loop? noticed this in my programs).
"Adobe Media Encoder CS5

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
expected: should encode and replace the file. I I have the files listed in windows explorer. this may be locking the file. I also had viewed the theora file in ff26. I hit the backspace key, which brought me to the previous page, and tried again, this should have hopefully eliminated the problem, but it did not.
platform: win7ult64sp1retail, i7-3970x, geforce gtx 670 w nvidia drivers, plenty of disk space.
I really don't understand github at all. I get referred here for useful software bits and bug fixes, yet all I ever see is a disorganized pile of folders with zero explanation as to what is what, how to use them, which bits to use for what, or where to install them. Just like this one. Frustrating.
Hello, I hope you all doing well.
I already downloaded both ogg and theora plugin but
Both plugin's Windows download link has been down, and I hope let you know about this.
Recently tried out your plugins, they work great for .ogg audio, but I have .ogv video files I'd like to get working in premiere. Any chance your plugin will support Vorbis video?
To give a little more background, the files I'm editing are RecordMyDesktop recordings from linux.
Thanks!
Using the default settings works fine but whenever I try to set the video quality, the encoder would output a 0kb file and crash.
Am using Adobe Media Encoder CC.
Anyone experiencing the same problem? I was able to reproduce this on Win 7 and Mac OS X Mavericks.
exporing theora .ogv video from AVI from digital camera from nikon p90 at 30fps 640x480 I see a green screen with alternating fixed patterns of plattered white pixels. audio is there though.
please fix, thanks. the plugin is not working. have Adobe Master collection cs5.
I try to use Ogg Theora/Vorbis plugins for Premiere Pro 2.0. The program sees them, but at start returns the following errors to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Premiere Pro\2.0\Plugin Loading.log

What can be the reason of these errors? Is it possible to use the plugins with this version of Premiere Pro?
Windows 7; Premiere Pro 2.0;
Theora for Premiere Pro v0.5b5; Ogg Vorbis for Premiere Pro 0.5b6
I trying now and nothing..
Generally imports go okay, but occasionally my Flac sources, which are 32 bit 192000 hz stereo and taken from DXTory, get... Garbled and mucked up part of the way through the import.
When I play them outside of Premiere, they're fine. But no matter how many times I import them, they keep getting caught on one part and ruining the rest of the import. What I end up having to do is importing the file into Audacity and resaving it as another flac. Then sometimes it'll work - but once or twice I've had to do this multiple times.
I'm linking to a file that presents such a problem for me as well as the exported Premiere audio that gets generated for me.
The glitch is very visible at 19:25.

Although AdobeOgg and AdobeWebM (https://github.com/fnordware/AdobeWebM) are made for Premiere, AdobeWebM works beautifully with Adobe Media Encoder (AME) CC. I was hoping for a similar outcome with AdobeOgg, and with it, the ability to create all my required web-formatted videos from one place. Unfortunately the settings and output from AME CC are only for Audio. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but being able to output .ogv files (with the video content) from AME CC would be great for me.
My environment: Win 7 64bit, Adobe Media Encoder CC 64-bit (Version 7.2.0.43)
ps. Hey Brendan, I'm so excited to see progress with web video format encoding for Adobe applications. It's kind of a joke that Adobe aren't paying for this integration themselves and the licensing fees with it. Thanks for your great work!
What is the difference between the "Theora" plugin and the "Ogg Vorbis" plugin in Adobe Premiere Pro?
Your plugin is serious help for me and allows me to ditch ffmpeg most of the time so let me start by saying thank you!
However I have slight problem, in my work pipeline I have to sometime encode non-standart resolution video in OGV and also explain to other how to do it when I am not available. Explaining how to use a plugin is much easier than writing lengthy description on using ffmpeg, so your plugin would be great help there. But with non standart resolutions, I get this stripe of blurred pixel at the left edge. It looks like one column of pixels was stretched over several columns. It's as if the video was actually rendered narrower and those few pixels on the side were then calculated from the left pixel column.
I don't see this in resolutions like 1920*1080 and other standart resolutions. Also I see this across players.
I guess it has something to do with recommended resolutions for different codecs, but ffmpeg somehow works around that so i was wondering if there is a way to work around that with your plugin as well.
Thanks for any help!
It seems that AdobeOgg can't work with m1 mac?
How can I compile it on m1 mac? and if it will works I wonder?
Exports audio track but no video - the video is missing
Using this plugin, is it possible to export audio in Opus format in Audition CC 2017?
