alfred-brightness's Issues

Validating before autocomplete options finish

Hi there,

I'd like to type in "brightness 100" and have it max out the brightness immediately before the autocomplete suggestions finish. Sometimes I hit brightness 100 and it does brightness 10 instead because I hit enter even before all the options show up.

Workflow shall change the brightness of external monitors

I really appreciate all of the Alfred Workflows that you’ve made and shared with the community. This workflow is able to change the built-in screen on my Macbook and iMac, but it can't change the brightness on my third-party external monitor.

Fortunately, I know of a tool that can change the brightness of external monitors: https://github.com/Bensge/NativeDisplayBrightness (brew cask install nativedisplaybrightness). Would you have any interest in modifying alfred-brightness to also send signals to nativedisplaybrightness?

Possible to select monitor to adjust?

I have an iMac with an external monitor where the brightness also can be adjusted through macOS. Is it possible to do this through this workflow? Currently is is only possible to adjust it on the main iMac monitor.

Cannot Get Current Brightness

I am not sure if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong. It could be a permission issue, if so it should be made clear that alfred requires those permissions in the readme. I am simply getting the "Cannot Get Current Brightness" along with the other options that do not do anything.

Change does not last

On Catalina, I can adjust the brightness using your tool (min max, a particular percentage) and the screen brightness adjusts; however, after about 10 seconds, it goes back to where it was. If some change needs to be made to my settings to allow the new brightness to take effect, then please advise.

Thanks!
