The UpdatesList.txt file located in the working directory ~/.mythicalLibrarian/<show_name> is not getting updated with data resulting in a 0 byte file. This can cause issues identifying the season and episode for a recording.

I found that some shows are failing to fetch season and episode information even though it was on thetvdb.com. This was happening a lot for "Big Brother" and I'm not sure if it's a case of the episode information on thetvdb.com is getting added after the script is run on my mythbox.

After some digging I found that if I delete the files out of the working show folder in ~/.mythicalLibrarian/ and rerun mythicalLibrarian it was able to find the correct information. I think we just need to blow the files away and recreate them when needed.

When the maxItems value is changed to another value the RSS feed is still only display 8 shows. It looks like maxItems is being given a value in two places. Once at the top with all of the other variable and once in the generaterss function.

When XBMC is updated by the script (mythicalLibrarian) it is only recognizing the show name and the episode number. The description of the episode is not getting displayed. I believe this is an issue with the way the files are being named. For example an episode of NCIS with a file name of "NCIS S12E01 (20 Klicks).mpg" was updated in XBMC as NCIS Season 12 and the Title 01 with no other information about the episode. I believe this is because of the parenthesis around the episode name (20 Klicks).

This may very well be an XBMC issue and if so I will close this issue.
