Chess Interface in Python

pygame 2.5.1

Full Chess interface built in Python's pygame library The interface includes the possibility to load any state/position of Chess with the "Forsyth-Edwards Notation" (FEN).

Flip the board using the spacebar key.

Play VS AI or a solo game.

IMPORTANT

The interface only works partially without the Stockfish engine. You can download it here:

https://stockfishchess.org/download/

Simply extract the folder to the directory and it should work. If you rather not, everything else will work as expected just make sure to pick "n" when prompted for the AI option.

Controls

CTRL +/- to resize window.

ARROW_DOWN/ARROW_UP to traverse game positions.

SPACEBAR to flip the board.
