Git not working on the Diary

This is an awesome Plugin that I use dialy. It allows me to sync my Vimwiki between different computers, phone and tablet. Thank you very much.

However, when I try to save a Diary file, I get an error, which I don't get on the regular vimwiki. What could be the reason and the solution? Any ideas?

EDIT: If I do the git add/commit/push outside Nvim on a regular shell, it works.
