Querying the mapped value of provider(interface java.util.Set) before task ':app:processDebugGoogleServices' has completed is not supported
attempting to follow along the codelab (https://firebase.google.com/codelabs/fcm-and-fiam) but I cannot 'run' the app as I get a plethora of errors.
it's plausible that a seasoned Android developer may easily solve these, but the codelab has "0 prerequisites", so obviously amny codelab students would have issues with this

seems to be related to latest version of Gradle, but as I said... 0 prerequisites... so I don't know this stuff yet
