I'm not even 100% sure how the subscription of a lambda to a queue in arc works by default, and how the polling factors in?

In either case, I think tackling this issue is needed for an 'MVP' of this plugin, at least to clearly draw the line between the stock arc queue and this plugin. If we decide not to support handlers in this plugin, we still need to address service discovery, and the README should be expanded to explain how to use the AWS SDK to publish, receive and delete messages from the queue (presumably from other lambdas).

Would be nice to include a full-fledged sample showing off the queue in action.

What would be a nice use case? Some kind of websockets thingo where you can push, pull and delete messages from the queue with?
