MQ Shadow Temple softlock?

I am doing a MQ run and when I reach the very first room of Shadow Temple with the Truth Spinner the dialog text saying "Point my beak..." doesn't come up. Also, sometimes there are multiple real skulls on the poles and all together the area is impassable because even if you turn the bird toward the real skull the floor falls out and it plays the error sound.

I've even used a side hop to avoid the floor falling and tried pointing it toward all 5 poles in 1 life to prevent the reshuffle and it failed for all 5.

I am playing on Mupen64core Retroarch (Also tried on PJ64 and Mupen standalone)

Castle Courtyard camera broken

Hi, I got to the castle courtyard but the camera is stationary on these two guards...

Not even sure if these guards are normally there. I can move past them and into the courtyard, but get caught cause I can't see.

I'm one of the devs from OotOnline and I'm getting a lot of reports of this issue. I've narrowed it specifically to happening when using a Better OOT rom.

on certain BetterOOT generated roms. I haven't managed to narrow down exactly what is causing it, but the following setting string has the issue: 29K699B. Attached is a BizHawk save file that has the shop in this state. Importing that save into any other rom I know of doesn't have the issue. (vanilla, old vanillamizer, rando, gz, etc...). This is reproducible without OotOnline running.

It would be nice to have a Toggle for all the Default changes

A lot of these features are always applied without the option to toggle them off. Most people who use the app now will always want them. But giving the option to disable them can open up some interesting uses for BOoT.

For example, OoT Online will only support version 1.0. So in other words, Master Quest is not supported in OoT Online. However, using BOoT, you can patch 1.0 to have the MQ dungeons. Circumventing this problem entirely! But a lot of casual players might want to play mostly vanilla. The same is true for the other features. Maybe someone wants to keep all cutscenes, but still have just the option to skip owls, or just have D-Pad Boots, or a just few cosmetic changes, etc.

A single toggle for all of the default features would open up the app to many more people.

Of course, ideally, every tiny little feature would have a toggle. But that gets a bit tedious. It's a quick fix to do them all with a single toggle. Although, If you did want to do that, you could make some sort of "Advanced" tab for disabling default features one at a time. People love customizing their experience.

[Suggestion] Add behaviour to Bunny Hood to make Young Link walk fast

Like the title implies, I always thought that the Bunny Hood (and almost all the masks in OoT) are pretty meaningless overall, with their only purpose being to obtain the Mask of Truth, which also serves little purpose in the game outside of two items.

My suggestion is to add an option to make the Bunny Hood behave in the same way as it does on Majora's Mask, but in Ocarina of Time.
This will make traversing Hyrule Field as Young Link much less of a hassle, and it will also encourage people to try to complete the Masks side-quest before going for the Master Sword.

An option to keep original cutscenes?

I know this is intended for speedrunners, and it's mainly to make that specific experience more enjoyable by removing cumbersome cutscenes and RNG. I appreciate that, but I'm a casual player and I love what this mod does in most areas. But I still want the original story experience, that's a big draw to the game for me.

So while I know what I'm asking goes against the core philosophy of what this is meant to do, I feel an option to retain the original cutscenes would basically make this the ultimate version of OoT. I'm not sure if it's a difficult thing to do, because I honestly don't have a clue how to do this sort of stuff. If I did, I'd do it myself and not bother you with my inane request. But if it's not too much trouble to ask, I think by just making the short cutscenes toggle-able, it could make this the definitive version of one of the best games of all time. All the little gripes that I have with this game, the long chest opening, the pause menu when switching boots, the absurdly slow text, and so on are fixed, but I dunno, it just doesn't feel right without the cutscenes.

Either way, I appreciate what you're doing.

soft-lock

the game stays on a black screen after I play the song of storms in the windmill, the animation ends, and the i can't do anything, just stays on a black screen

ROM won't load on emulator

I have an Ocarina of Time v1.0 ROM that works in my emulator, but when I use the BOoT wizard and try and load the result in my emulator, all I get is a black screen. I'm using the BOoT seed AQBAAAA and my emulator is Project64 with the default plugins. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
