Basically, the switch animates from off to on, although it should just be on right away without the animation happening every time.

Right now only currency letter abbreviations are detected, but often you also get the currency symbols next to value.

When you highlight text and then immediately after highlight another text, the original timeout is still running and can prematurely close the popboy of the second highlight. So instead of having a 2sec delay before closing it, there is, for example, a 0.3sec delay, which sucks.

Solution for that is to clear the previous timeout every time a new highlight is created.

On some websites its look completely breaks due to using font sizes and other styling from the properties of the website, making it look super ugly. Have to figure out how to prevent it from inheriting styles from the website it's being used on.

Once text is highlighted, determine whether it's a non-metric unit, convert to metric unit and display the conversion in the popup.

It disappears properly if you click anywhere else except on the highlighted part.

First conversions to EUR will be implemented, then later I'll create an Options page for the extension to be able to change from to which currency what is converted, with a special section for crypto conversions (BTC-ETH, ETH-ADA etc).

The - character should be checked as a separator between amount and unit to facilitate the conversion of cases like 7-inch.

I'm not sure how to go about populating both of these elements.
Currently it seems that most if not all of the possible configurable options would fit in the options popup, so there would be very little use for the Options page.

My suggestion would be to focus on populating the options popup with configurations, and leaving the Options page empty for the time being, and later perhaps simply copying the content of the popup into the Options page + adding some additional info/documentation perhaps.

Currently the Search feature only launches the search query using DuckDuckGo, but other users might be using a different default search engine on their browsers.
