Misleading name. Auto create, not only auto mount

Your script is good for creating the new datastore. But it wipes any existing data on the USB device in the process without any warning.
It should not be used to mount USB with previously created datastore.
To mount previously created datastore:
Execute: esxcli storage vmfs snapshot list
Get VMFS UUID from the output.
Mount it: esxcfg-volume -M [Put UUID here]
