Original tag list not populated when closing tag

From @tuxology on August 24, 2015 1:54

Current behaviour

  1. Go to questions page
  2. Click any tag
  3. Questions relevant to that tag come.
  4. Tag list in side bar gets updates with fewer tags
  5. Close tag by clicking 'X' button.
  6. Tag list in sidebar remains same as in step 4

Intended behaviour

  1. Go to questions page
  2. Click any tag
  3. Questions relevant to that tag come.
  4. Tag list in side bar gets updates with fewer tags
  5. Close tag by clicking 'X' button.
  6. Tag list in sidebar gets updates to original state

More padding between sidebar and questions

From @tuxology on August 24, 2015 1:41

Things are too close to each other and look slightly crammed I think.

You can probably experiemnt with more padding and spacing to see what suits well. I suggest looking at other webistes for inspiration on sidebars and the idea of isolating data. Even within the sidebar, things are too crammed. In the long run, we should think about it a bit. Possibly seggregating data according to its purpose.

Too much visual noise

From @tuxology on August 24, 2015 1:47

This is not me saying but others (read Sarup and our test subjects) - the labels add to much visual noise as they area bit dark.

image

Can you possibly experiment with some lighter shade of grey? Just light enough so that the text remains black still. Possibly unfilled but just with gark grey border and getting filled with dark grey when you hover over them? (or any other idea that you have)

Slight border on "cards"

From @tuxology on August 24, 2015 1:17

Some slight border on cards would be helpful IMO as the grey is essentialy quite light. For example, look at the mockups you did :

This would probably apply to "cards" used everywhere such as in Profile view

Consistent input box styles

From @tuxology on August 24, 2015 1:36

Double shadow in input-box:

I don't know if this wan intended or not, but probably just one shadow can be good. It would be good to have all input boxes with same consistent look like these ones:

I am just saying consistent designs. Probably any other type may look good - you can experiemnt and see what suits you. We can iterate over them later on as well.
