Hi,
Sorry for bothering you, but I've been searching for hours to get this right.
I am trying to install AWS in Codeiginiter.
I am not familiar with Composer, but I've followed the docs and I've installed it (I am on Win8 and using Netbeans, WAMP server).
So I have composer, the CI project is already up and running. I created a composer.json at the root as per your description in the readme, then what should I do? Shouldn't the json be in the third-party folder? How do I make it import the dependencies?

I do not have composer. How can I start using S3 with CodeIgniter? I've put the AWS Folder with the S3 folder in the Libraries folder. I also put the files you provided into the locations specified. Anything else?

So I followed your steps and did the following.

1. Install aws_sdk via Composer
2. add Composer autoloader in the CodeIgniter's index.php in the root.
3. Add the config/aws_sdk.php with the correct keys
4. Add libraries/Aws_sdk
5. Try to load the library in controller ($this->load->library('aws_sdk');)
6. Get a 500 error because it cannot load it....

I'm not sure what the problem is...
