Hi, I tried a very simple replacement for the GPS in one of the planes I have.
I replaced this:

The result is that I have a white page/screen in the GPS, maybe I'm missing something but I thought changing the panel.cfg and putting the GPS in the Community Folder would be enough.
Any help would be appreciated!

When deleting a user waypoint on the OTH 3 page, the cursor gets moved down a row, skipping the next waypoint. This means, in order to delete every waypoint, the user always has to reposition the cursor one row up again after deleting a waypoint.
After clicking the CRSR spot it turns to KYBD, but keyboard inputs are not showing in the selected field where the cursor is blinking. Is there another step needed to use this functionality?
The KLN-89 trainer behaves like this on the CAL paged:
Manual values like altitude and baro setting are always synced across pages.
Calculations are performed as soon as the page is viewed. For example, when viewing the CAL 2 page, it overwrites manual entries on the CAL 3 page. This overwriting occurs just by viewing the page, no cursor or change of values is required.
The build process should automatically write the version number in the manifest.json based on the current version in the Version.ts.
I got the MSG flashing on the KLN90 with this error message.
It happened in a second leg of a flight after landing, shutting down and then starting the plane again without ever leaving to the MSFS menu, so maybe related to this.
The error says:

It was reported that the KLN turns left at D335P (D18 KRK) instead of right. The procedure is PITA2S LGKR/BEDEX.D34-U.
The barometer entry in the KLN-89 trainer has the following range for barometer entries:
22.00-32.99 inHg
745-1117 hpa
Check if this is correctly implemented in our simulation.
If a flight plan from the world map or from a .fpl file contains lat/lon waypoints, then those should be imported as SUP waypoints as well.

The elevation on the APT 2 page uses meters and must be converted to feet.
The To/From flag is not working in OBS mode.

The end of the first arc (PILIS
) and the entry of the second arc are at the same location.
OK, corrected report here. Repeated once already.
-Enter flight plan
-Select REF on right side
-Enter waypoint from flight plan, hit enter
-Select enter again with no further actions
-Proceed direct to newly inserted waypoint (or allow FPL to sequence their by itself)
-Error will occur as soon as the GPS tries to sequence to the next leg

GEG-7 only contains a vector leg, which the KLN does not recognize. This results in an empty procedure. To avoid confusion, empty procedures should be hidden.
This issue was reported with the version 1.2 of the KLN:
Use the tablet to swap to the GNS and then swap back to the KLN.
GPS variables like A:GPS GROUND SPEED
, or A:HSI CDI NEEDLE:1
will now be updated more frequently than 1HZ.
Cycling the power of the KLN off and on again restores the frequency back to 1HZ.
The tablet of the aircraft simply switches the GPS_DISABLED variables.
A user reported, that the KLN flew in the opposite direction of the DME arc when flying the procedure Kopar3c at LGKO.

A user noticed, that the left NAV 5 page was not drawing correctly. It is drawn correctly with the debug build, but not with the minified release build.
It turns out, that the enum CanvasSize
was assigned the identifier vh
, which is already assigned at startup, probably by CoherentGT. This collusion resulted in the enum not getting initialized correctly.
To prevent those collusions, the code should no longer be minified and there should be no more distinctions between debug builds and release builds.
When I pop out the KLN90 screen it quickly starts to look bad as if the screen was overdrawing over itself and the light bleeding around the cahracters.
Of course this can be me a complete noob at modding aircraft but just in case can you check if the popped out panel is working ok?

Not all users move their camera towards the screen, which makes the error message in the screen unreadable. Since the beginning is the most important part, the font size should be as large as the font size of the buttons on that screen.
In Alaska, airspace alerts will be shown for the Magadan Oceanic airspace.

A user asked for a way to load FPL files after having started the sim. JavaScript has access to the file system in the community folder, so some sort of import could be created.
Flying the DME-ARC STAR at LIMJ - PIKOT 3D, it followed the arc beautifully. Approaching the arc, one point seems to cause some issues with the naming and displaying symbols getting a looong name and some squares. Here it is on the FPL page, where it looks fine, and then while flying to it on the Super NAV 5 page.
Using Navigraph data for the sim, if that makes any difference.
The KLN currently only displays approaches encoded as "GPS". This limits it's functionality in the sim quite a lot. Instead all RNAV approaches should be available, except those that make use of RF legs.
The KLN 89 trainer initializes the pressure on the CAL 1 page with 29.92. We currently start at 0, it is likely that the -90B behaves like the -89.
Add keyboard support for NumberEditorField and AlphabetEditorField, so latitude/longitude can be entered with the keyboard.
