Upgrading a ClickOnce app will cause this to uninstall itself, because the application path will change. There's no opportunity in a silent upgrade pattern to update the task, because there's no elevated privileges.

A better way to do it would be to have the ClickOnce app write it's location to a common resource that's user writable. Or, add a new command parameter which is something like "update", to tell this where the new app location is. Then it's an implementation detail where that gets stored (eg, a text file in the same directory).

Projects that this is added to shouldn't be responsible for tracking its dependencies. There should be a new command, something like "move" which copies the exe and any dependencies to the specified target location.
