This is a submod for the Ultimate Tech Tree : New Horizons mod extending the game play in to the Cold War era. The vanilla focus trees are kept intact while switching your focus in to the Cold War ear.

Extended Timeline aims to extend the playable time in vanilla Hearts of Iron 4 while still keeping the vanilla fealing. The mod is a submod for the Ultimate Tech Tree : New Horizons. The mod extends the playable timeline by applying new Focus Trees and events based on the outcome of the second world war, these are called scenarios.

Scenarios are applied based on how the world state is at the end of the World War 2 and each playthrue can differ. You can read more about scenarios here.

Minor/Alternate Scenarios

Scenarios to fill in potential states of more randomized games, some examples:
Power Vacuum: Germany is defeated but leaves France and England decimated, with the Soviet Union either collapsing in some way or not continuing on a communist path. Add focuses for various European and Asian powers to attempt to fill the void of the global superpowers or at least achieve regional power.
Balkan Superpower: Germany primarily defeated by a Balkan nation or alliance that holds majority control over the Balkans (Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Yugoslavia). Add focuses to Balkan nations to develop into colonial powers and address the status of former colonial powers, focuses to US, Japan, Soviet Union, France, England, and other existing colonial powers to attempt to refragment the Balkans.
Nordic Union: Germany primarily defeated by Nordic states, (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, potentially include Baltic States). Add focuses to address their stances to overseas powers and the Soviet Union.
More ideas appreciated.

Economy System

HOI4 don't have money and we don't want to make a separate money system. The closest we have to money is Civilian Industry Capacity (CIC). To make a more Post War Economy work the CIC will be utilized as money.

To make a good economy system work it could come in to question that the mod require Waking the Tiger DLC

Sending money to country will cost you CIC (via civilian_factory_use command) receiver will get offsite factory for a time (via add_offsite_building command) Factories are never permanently moved to a country.
