Lorsque je clique sur " Site web En savoir plus sur Exodus Privacy" j'arrive sur la page d'accueil exodus-privacy.eu.org en anglais.
Pour les personnes peu à l'aise en anglais (qui correspondent à une grande partie du public rencontré en atelier / médiation numérique) cela peut être rébarbatif, entraînant un retour en arrière sur l'app qui elle, est en français.
Or, puisque le site existe en français, cela serait chouette qu'il soit possible d'arriver sur la version française du site, supprimant cette friction et permettant de découvrir l'association ! 🌟

There are a lot of press about Exodus Privacy in German, Russian... It could be great if we could add some links.

The link is on this page. I couldnt find that page to make a PR

PrivacyTools is full of non-private services and software (filled with affiliate links), and the creation of PrivacyGuides was a pretty big deal. I also think they are a way better upgrade, taking in mind security and having much better standards, and having actual guides on how to threat model and other things.

On the "what" page (in English at least) it states "The application is available on F-Droid and Google Play." As of today, this is not true. I assume it was removed by Google; I'm sure others know more about this than I.

If this is the only page that mentions Google Play, I'm happy to submit a pull request. Although I think someone more familiar with the project should write the copy, ideally.

We should add the link to this repository somewhere on the website (in the footer for instance).

As suggested by @jfoucry we can create a scientist category on the website press page to list papers related to Exodus-Privacy research and tools.

I noticed that the mobile app version of for example Discord includes facebook login and google analytics.
Wiped my phone and did not install a single app with trackers or suspicious permissions.

Do you offer a service or are you aware of any service which allows me to identify trackers for the Discord Desktop PC App?
Not only Discord but generally, a website/service that shows me if a desktop program has trackers in it, that would be MUCH NEEDED. I am afraid whenever i use Discord on my PC, it connects to facebook...
In that case i would have to wipe my PC and not use Discord ever again.

The website does not handle well the internationalization.

For example, https://exodus-privacy.eu.org/page/who/ should automatically redirect to https://exodus-privacy.eu.org/fr/page/who/ or https://exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/page/who/ depending on the language of your browser, exactly how it is working for the main page http://exodus-privacy.eu.org/.
Instead, it serves an old cached version of the page.

Add new permission in privacy policy for next release:

• QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES
• This permission allows the application to see all installed packages on your device.

When we change language (from french to english or nglish to french) the navigation goes back to homepage instead of beeing in the same page ut in the new language.

Example :
Today:
accounting (english) → Switching language to french → homepage

Should be:
accoounting (english) → Switching language to french → accounting (french)

For now the logo of the supporters are not centered on the row level.
This is a bit annoying and not extremely beautiful.

We should have it centered in some way.

Add to the FAQ a part about why we cannot check for each tracker (for instance in the manifest) whether the tracker is enabled or not.

What could be improved

Currently, README.md recommends to install a specific range of versions of hugo:

It doesn't give advices on it.

Why it coult be improved

When contributing, installing hugo must be done without friction, allowing everyone to help out easily.

Install hugo v.0.54.0

I am myself a developer, and I am struggling with this on Mac.

brew install [email protected] and brew install [email protected] are failing with No available formula with the name "hugo@...".

The hugo official docs does not give specifics.

For now, it seems building from source is the easiest way.

PeerTube videos download via torrent doesn't start.

As the great UX designer Maïtané Lenoir said, links cannot be visible only by color, but must be underlined to be visible to everyone.
So, we should change the CSS code to add some underline to the links.

If you follow the link of a tag from a blog post (such as https://exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/post/tracking-trackers/) you will end on a 404 error page because the link is not internationalized -> https://exodus-privacy.eu.org/tags/trackers/

I don't really know where to look at, I'm guessing it could be in the theme itself.

The Lets chat link of the Who page is broken if there is no IRC client available on the computer.

We should redirect to https://matrix.to/#/#exodus-privacy:matrix.org

We have a first page translated in russian (what.ru.md in https://github.com/Exodus-Privacy/website/tree/hugo/content/page) it would be so great to translate the other pages.

Currently build fail on recent version, at least 0.57 and earlier, maybe older than that.
