With SLES 12 SP3, while using the tool to set the known best-practices, it was noted that the adapter firmware option for RDDA on MLX5-based systems was not set. The tool did not offer to set it for us either.

The current release is not reporting NVMe device details, target service status (when installed and running), or management service status (when installed and running). Client services are reported as expected in contrast.

Request is to support Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.4 and 7.5

Documentation states "-sv" is valid option. That's wrong as it is two separate switches.
The correct usage is ./nvmesh_diag -s -v if both options/switches are to be set/used.

Report all the installed software packages and its versions.

Please add a method for collecting the NVMesh-{client,target} git commit ID. This data is stored in a version file under /proc/nvmeib[cs]
