It would be super useful if HTML links would be transformed to MarkDown as well.

Would you merge a PR that adds this functionality @npcode? If so I'll create a PR for it.

I use your extension because I hate that Outlook online doesn't support the good old ">" prefix form when quoting in a reply.

A request: Add an option to remove the reference link at the end. When quoting from emails in a web mail interface, that link rarely makes sense.

Whenever I use this extension from within Gmail I end up with a url of this shape:

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#m_-6866875284062889053DP_TOP_MARK DP_USER_EMAIL

Which is quite strange as it contains a newline. This is due to the ID having a newline in it.

Either way: the problem is that Gmail uses the fragment to route to the correct page. If we use another fragment, navigation fails.

I would like to propose to only run the code to extract a fragment, if no fragment is found on the current URL already. Do you agree @eungjun-yi?
