While it's badly (i. e. not at all) documented, it's possible to override Graylog configuration settings with environment variables with the prefix GRAYLOG2_.

For example GRAYLOG2_PASSWORD_SECRET will override the password_secret setting from the configuration file and GRAYLOG2_MONGODB_URI will override the mongodb_uri setting from the configuration file.

The Docker images might be useful for other users of Graylog. In order to discover them, they should be added to the Graylog Marketplace: https://marketplace.graylog.org/

The name of the project is "Graylog" and not "Graylog2" anymore (since the release of version 1.0.0). The README still mentions "Graylog 2". 😉
