This package is needed to build xgetres. Install with apt

After fresh install, the blocklet does not appear.

Currently, i3lock background is set manually, it would be great to have this set by one of the predefined colors and not have to hard code this.

Problem didn't start until after changing to new i3 config.

After install Tree style tabs, the top tab bar is still visible.

When building i3blocks config during initial install without X session causes an error because X database does not exist. The config file does get built and it defaults are used as expected, but it causes dotbot to produce errors.

• Remove bulding of i3blocks config from install or build the config without colors
• Need to find a different means to update i3blocks config outside of dotbot install.

Currently, package installation has these columns

1. provider
2. package
3. tags
4. additional_options
5. comments

• Swap order of tags and additional_options
• Rework tags so that "any" is not needed for machine specific configurations
• Allow disabling of line items

If using ayu-mirage-custom theme for most thing, then yaru yellow might be a good choice.

Failing this, need to find a good gtk3 theme for ayu-mirage and use obsidian sand icons.

From #22, if aludra compiles redshift from source, will patch for PR 757, Ayatana AppIndicator3, be applicable?

kdeconnect either doesn't start or is not installed. Looking at packages.csv, it looks like it might not have been installed.

20.10 introduced arctica-greeter as a replacement for slick-greeter. arcticia-greeter has known issues with switching to i3. Need to document this workaround.

harper currently has setup for nfs shares in fstab, need to get these instructions into the install.conf file.

Originally, install.conf.yml assumes executing directory to be ~/.dotfiles.local. Need to review places where these hard coded paths exist and figure out how to derive the path from the executing directory.

This might be related to how symlinks are setup since they were done using full paths.

• Add theme coloring for i3blocklets to xresources
• Review i3blocklets and fetch coloring from xresources, with standard defaults as fallback.

Switch dmenu to rofi! Look at Regolith to see what they do.

Script repo has updates that are not push to remote yet. Make sure to push this repo before upgrading.

When logging into any desktop session, redshift produces the failed to retrieve location information. The current redshift config uses manual mode, but the error is still present. Why didn't this happen when aludra was upgraded to 20.04?

Also, when logging in to i3 session, there are 3 instances of redshift running. One is from i3 config and there are two others that get restarted even after kill -9.

Right now, redshift has been uninstalled because the errors never go away and while the error message is present, the CPU is maxed out.

Need to get a list of the extensions currently installed before upgrading

The switch to a new wrapper for dmenu has caused shutdown-warn-external-drives to no longer function.

Had to switch back to slick-greeter due to #23, need to add these customization. Look at adding customization in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d instead of editing glib-schema.

I believe mate-yaru was backported to 20.04 before 21.04 was released. 21.04 introduced different color palettes to yaru theme and they might have been backported as well.

After converting to mate-settings-daemon, I cannot access the bluetooth menu on harper. To be honest I'm not sure it it even worked on harper to begin with and I've never tried on aludra.

Currently, styling for remontoire is hard coded. Need to come up with a way to parameterize the hard coded values and how to make switching between styles easier. Maybe have a script that does the substitutions, similar to what is done with i3 config.

Regolith defines this functionality but the script to make it work comes from their i3xrocks scripts

This key combo is defined in i3 config, but it hasn't been tested. It's really only useful for laptops.

When no editors are open, <Alt>+f, o will bring up the open menu. Once editors are open though, it'll only switch to an editor or open a new file (if <Alt>+f, n was used to create an editor. This all started after switch to new i3 config. Although I didn't really check after switch to mate-settings-daemon
