Design: staff morale

Morale need to play major role. Part of it is the gear available, the site, success rate etc. But the major factor will be the worldview - and how aligned the organisation worldview is aligned with theirs.
We need to decide what impact morale will have exactly, but it must be crucial.

Create new types of sites that generate news

These are to include:
plantations
factories
mines

Each site will have a produce that is based on worldview and may change the chances for events and shifts the worldview feedback when missions are being executed.

Refactor coal mine to include the produce instead of hardcoding a type

Missions to be sent to UI

UI will be requesting list of currently available missions and it also needs to receive updates on missions as they are being updated (mission expired, someone accepted the mission)

Expand mission creation by the politicians to target sites

When politician creates a new mission, that mission should be targeting a particular site and the objective should be aligned with this politician worldview, e.g. an environmentalist politician will be asking for a coal mine to be sabotaged or assaulted.

Add stats to staff

Include strength, endurance, intelligence, weapons skills. More to come later.
The skills need to make an impact on the value of a staff member (hire cost)

Missions need to include risk and reward

The missions need factors that impact the chances and risks. Staff skills and gear offsets these risks.
A monetary reward needs to included once mission is complete. Staff may be hurt or killed.

Missions need to expire

There needs to be a deadline on every mission and when that time expires, the mission must no longer be available

Allow users to register new accounts

After registering an account user will be able to log in and play right away. They will receive some initial funds and be able to purchase first cell and hire the staff.

Add stats to sites

The sites need to include:

  • area available
  • area used (by equipment)
  • sleeping quarters (staff limit)
  • state of the property (damages)
  • building type (flat, office, hangar, warehouse space)
    These make impact on the price of the site.
