Problem with bad encoding on MacOS using markdown with polish characters about espanso HOT 2 OPEN

I find the clipboard backend works better in text editors.

Try adding:

    force_mode: clipboard

to your trigger:/markdown: code.

There are UTF-8 issues (and solutions) with foreign characters, but they tend to apply to Script and Shell extensions, so I don't think this is the problem here.

If the above doesn't fix things would you kindly post the whole expansion code, and information about your editor?

so I tested this clipboard solution on a few MacBooks.
Unfortunately it didn't work.
BUT I found that espanso doesn't have problem with encoding polish characters on High Sierra on Virtual Machine, not sure why. Maybe this information will help someone to solve this specific problem.
