Eruption Profile Switcher

A GNOME 4x Shell extension for switching between different slots and profiles of the Eruption realtime RGB LED driver for Linux.

Additionally, it supports setting some global configuration options like brightness of the LED illumination, and it allows to enable or disable sound effects.

It even supports showing signal strength and battery levels where supported/applicable.

Please note that the current master branch of this extension requires Eruption version >= 0.3.0.

Extension version supported version of the Eruption daemon
since v30 requires Eruption >= 0.3.0
since v23 requires Eruption >= 0.1.23
up to v19 requires Eruption <= 0.1.22

Schema in the wrong directory

I tried installing the switcher from Gnome Extensions site and got the following error when I tried to use the settings.

“~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/[email protected]/schemas/gschemas.compiled”

I checke the directory and saw there was no directory called schemas the the gschemas.compiled was in the directory above. I created the directory by hand and copied the file over. Seems to work fine now.

Error during installation

Error while Installation on Ubuntu 21.10

Hello,

I successfully installed Eruption on my System and I can see the Keyboard LEDs changing while typing. Afterward, I wanted to install Eruption Profile Switcher. During the second command an error occurred:

user@pc:~$ gnome-extensions install /home/user/Downloads/eruption-profile-switcherx3n0m0rph59.org.v20.shell-extension.zip
[email protected] exists and --force was not specified
user@pc:~$ gnome-extensions enable eruption-profile-switcher@x3n0m0rph59.org.v20.shell-extension.zip 
Extension “eruption-profile-switcher@x3n0m0rph59.org.v20.shell-extension.zip” does not exist
user@pc:~$

Any ideas on how to fix that?
