If anyone shows interest in this project, here is the list of things I would like to change:

• Support internationalization
• Put HTML templates in Angular instead of serving them through Play controllers
• Cleanup webpack configuration & deploy the seed to Heroku as a proof of concept
• Fix CRSF config

And even optionally:

• Reset password feature
• Account activation by email

I have done most of this when using this template to implement another github project of mine, so it would be quite straightforward.
