$target = urlencode(substr($uri, $index + 3)); must be just $target = substr($uri, $index + 3); as the URL is already encoded correctly.

The custom hydrator for Nodes which is used while querying via Views does not set the ->setFileBaseUrls(..).. so how are the custom file/image fields suppose to generate URLs without knowing the base URLs?

Same is the case with any other Document which supports custom fields (like taxanomy terms)

There is no exception thrown when the request to the drupal api fails if the database is down. It throws back null, which is undesirable in production environment.

If you deploy your Drupal to a different location, the media images, etc still point to the old location. You've to re-save every node manually for this to update to the location.

Why is this happening? Even though the images in the body field have been defined using relative URLs.

1. Is this expected behaviour?
2. Possible solutions?
3. Any way to re-save all nodes at one go? This could bring some immediate relief.

The Guzzle library (http://guzzlephp.org/tour/http.html) seems very promising and I see a lot of reasons to be on it instead of Zend. Especially, if it can handle concurrent connections, persistent connections and any other features that can help optimize connections in the future.

There's a patch available to support exposed filters in views here: http://drupal.org/node/1219962

If we implement the patch in the Services Views module, then we should be allowed to set these filters from the query builder while useView(..) is being used.

You pass a limit = 0 while using the QueryBuilder, it is not passed onto the server as it regards it as a null or default value. We should explicitly pass the value 0 as it means an unlimited result (at least in the case of querying views)

Services Views supports a 'display_id' parameter which allows querying "The display ID of the view to get."

Can be implemented using the following interface

$qb->displayId($displayId)

To replicate the functionality of doctrine we would also need getNext() and hasNext() function for the cursor class.

Refer to the unique identifier for a document by using $_id, getId(), setId(..) rather than providing each one a different unique identifier name.
