Questo è un progetto scolastico molto semplice creato per l'OpenDay. L'obiettivo è di mostrare ai ragazzini delle medie com'è il mondo dell'informatica (d'altronde quelli delle terze e delle quinte portano dei robot quindi noi dobbiamo fare qualcosa di diverso). L'app è grafica ed usa TkInter, una libreria molto basiliare scritta in Python, per far selezionare le immagini all'utente e mostrarne l'output. Per quanto riguarda il modello, è stato usato Tensorflow, libreria molto famosa nel campo AI, e l'obiettivo ultimo è normalizzare l'immagine data in input, passarla al modello ed esso riconoscerà se il soggetto della foto è un cane od un gatto dando pure una probabilità di "sicurezza", ovvero quanto il modello è sicuro che quella sia la risposta giusta. This is a school's project really simple created for the OpenDay. The goal is to show middle schoolers how's CS's world (besides, those of the third and fifth year will show robots so we must make something different). This is a graphical application and uses TkInter, a really basic library written in Python, to let the user select images and show him the results. As of the model, it was made using Tensorflow, a really famous library in the AI's sector, and the final goal is to normalize the image given in input, pass it to the model and the model'll recognize if the photo's subject is wether a cat or a dog giving a "security" probability, too. That probability tells how much the model is sure the answer is right. The training data's accuracy is 95% meanwhile on test data is 87%.
