I think we should prefer to reuse the Windows code (i.e. use CreateProcess) and avoid Cygwin's fork() implementation, but we need to find a way to convert Cygwin paths to normal Windows paths before passing them to the Windows APIs.

It was easier to treat it as Unix. Specs are passing. Could you try the latest gem (0.1.5)?
