Yes. It works. Thank you!

Hi,
how do you initialise BOLFI
?
Can you test
import elfi
from elfi.examples import ma2
from elfi.methods.bo.acquisition import RandMaxVar
from elfi.model.extensions import ModelPrior
model = ma2.get_model()
define acquisition process
gp = elfi.GPyRegression(model.parameter_names, bounds={'t1':(-2, 2), 't2': (-1, 1)})
prior = ModelPrior(model)
acq = RandMaxVar(model = gp, prior = prior)
set up bolfi
bolfi = elfi.BOLFI(
model['d'],
batch_size = 1,
initial_evidence = 10,
update_interval = 1,
bounds = {'t1':(-2, 2), 't2': (-1, 1)},
target_model = gp,
acquisition_method = acq,
)
bolfi.fit(15)
from elfi.
Thanks! I'll try this. I think this will solve the problem, as I was not aware that you can give model as a keyword to RandMaxVar and was trying to give it as a positional argument instead. I'll let you know how this goes.

Great! I think this should be explicitly demoed in our manual - I'll add this to our todos.
