Hi ,

I encountered an issue with the desktop app for windows.
When I login via browser I have to give my permission for the site to access my mic and webcam. But when I use the app, it doesnt show the prompt to allow or deny permission to mic and webcam. When I go to the settings for mic and webcam in the app I can select either "none" or "standard". If I select the latter it tells me access denied.
When I go to the windows-settings for the camera, nextcloud isnt listed as one of the apps that has access to the camera - idk if this helps.
Do you know this problem and/or do you know how to fix it or rather give my permission to access? Thanks in advance

after install on restart I get the error:
System.Exception: The ChromiumWebBrowser instance creates the underlying Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) browser instance in an async fashion. The undelying CefBrowser instance is not yet initialized. Use the IsBrowserInitializedChanged event and check the IsBrowserInitialized property to determine when the browser has been initialized.

I'm sorry to bother you so much but this one is genuine 😄

Is it possible to also show notifications if the app window is open but not in focus?
Also, like i wrote in the last issue, which cleared itself, would it be possible to only block notifications from open chats?

a <p> with the name of data-v-e8020be6 and class title has the chat name as content. This could be used to filter incoming messages right?

after a clean "install", started the app. Setup went ok, then asked for closing then re-launching the app.
=> when restarting, the icon tray is here, but clicking on it open a blank window with "Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server." text.

by using your Application i discoverd, that its not possible to set E-Mails as usernames.
When using the ´@´ in a username it causes Problems.
Maybe this is a minor thing that can befixed easy.

I've noticed that I cannot share my screen when using the Chromium window in a call.

Could this maybe be a permission issue?

I hink I have to pay you at some point right? 😆

The Chromium Browser defaults to the english language and redlines every german word I type.
Is there a way to recognize the correct system locale and set it accordingly? Just disabling the autocorrection would be fine for me too.

The desktop app works after initial setup. However the program stops showing notifications permanently after a OS restart. OS is Win10 21H2. A shortcut of the talk program is added to startup folder of user. Nexcloud desktop Client Nextcloud-3.6.0-x64 is installed

after using you app for a bit, I noticed Talk is not showing new messages if you dont refresh the site.
This is a pretty deep issue in Talk itself I guess. But since they probably wont do anything to fix it, maybe automatically refreshing the site when a new message gets deteced would be a workaround.

I didn't dove in the API or your application yet, but maybe there is even a more elegant way to do this.

As an example for this problem:
Let's assume that I'm in Talk chatting with someone. At the same time there is a new message from someone else. Since the Talk window is focused it doesn't trigger a notification (which is good, at least when it would be a message from the chat I'm in right now). But since the view of talk does not refresh I dont know that I got a new unread message. Only after I refresh the page I could see that.

I guess there are some problems with hard refreshing, but I don't have a better idea. Reloading in a Meeting would probably pretty stupid. Also reloading while typing would be pretty annoying. So the fix would have to decide smart on when to reload. Maybe just after ending a call or sending a message.

If the App could see which chat is selected it could just hide notifications from that one. The refreshing would still be needed to work optimally. But this would allow new messages to be recieved even while in a call.

Maybe someone has a better idea how this could be done.

Notifications are no longer showing up after upgrading to Nextcloud 22

first up: GREAT WORK. You fixed the biggest flaw in Talk all by yourself :)

When setting up your app i encountered a little problem:

If I want to run the 1.4 release nothing happens. No window open, no runnung process, nothing...
Version 1.3 worked however. So I copied the contents from the new release in the old application folder and that did the trick.
Now 1.4 ist working.
I'm not sure if this has to do with the setup process or something else, but if you have further questions I'll do my best to help you.

I've had the same behavior on two machines, both running the latest W11 stable release and similar other Software in the background.
