@eeintech thanks for this piece, i have a question to ask you, i am uploading Django files and I want to have the progress of the upload, currently http://localhost:8000/celery-progress/35a8c763-a189-406c-a6c7-b47c94c55c0b/ gives me info on the task, but i can't really make a progress bar out of it, I somehow need to get the amount of file that has been uploaded, since I already know the total size of the upload, can you point me to a solution will be very grateful thanks,

just a note about running celery on Windows - maybe it will be useful for someone:
to avoid tasks always hanging on in PENDING state, need to assign flag
--pools=solo
