📌Contributing Guidelines :

1. Fork this repository.

2. Clone your forked copy of the project.

git clone https://github.com/<your-github-username>/eduhub-website.git

3. Add a reference(remote) to the original repository.

git remote add upstream https://github.com/Eduhub-Community/eduhub-website.git

4. Check the remotes for this repository.

git remote -v

5. Always take a pull from the upstream repository to your master branch to keep it at par with the main project(updated repository).

git pull upstream main

6. Create a new branch.

git checkout -b <your_branch_name>

7. Perfom your desired changes to the code base.

8. Track your changes:heavy_check_mark:

git add .

9. Commit your changes .

git commit -m "Relevant message"

10. Push the committed changes in your feature branch to your remote repo.

git push -u origin <your_branch_name>

11. To create a pull request, click on compare and pull requests. Please ensure you compare your feature branch to the desired branch of the repo you are suppose to make a PR to.

12. Add appropriate title and description to your pull request explaining your changes and efforts done. Always make sure you have pulled the latest code from the master branch before making a PR.

13. Click on Create Pull Request.

Issue in contributing guidelines

There is issue in readme.md contributing guideline due to which some are facing problem in setting up on local system

The social media links are not visible on the home page not working as well.

Buttons Misaligned in mobile view

I want to make these changes in the website

  • I want to also add also the telegram channel icon and button with the whatsapp and discord icon

  • Also I want to add the latest event poster i.e. "Git & GitHub? Open source Contribution Guide" hosted by Sahitya Roy bhaiya in the events section.

Changes in Landing page to make it look more attractive

The UI and structure would be the same so that it does not go off with the whole website I will just update the basic css. Along with it, even the WhatsApp logo in the button is mirrorized, it needs to be set correctly.
Pls assign me this issue under Hacktoberfest label

Add link to logo in footer

Logo in top work like link but in footer does not work like this so i have fixed this

social media colour

social media icons below "lets take you forward" whenever you place your cursor on which ever social media it will change to specific colour like YouTube it will remain same red, linkedIn will change to blue, github will change to black, instagram will change to purple

Want to make some changes in this section: spacing, colors, adding CSS effects to the navbar

None of the links in the navbar are working also the social media accounts are not added (they are not working as well).
