Minor compiler warnings under Linux about quake3e HOT 5 CLOSED

Do you know how to fix that? I've tried (void) prefix what is not enough as you can see, but it doesn't hurt anything so I left it as is

I'm not sure why the void prefix is showing in the error message. I compiled fresh code again and the prefix was not there. To silence the warnings, I did something like this for each warning:

I think the compiler wants the code to verify if the write was successful or not.

Looks like that code length is bigger than wagnings messages it fixes

Yes, I agree. Each write needs an if statement to keep the compiler happy. The error message could be shorter though.
