iTunes crashes after 'attaching' iTSfv

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. run iTSfv, it can either start iTunes or iTunes can already be running
2. do some operation in iTSfv that affects the iTunes db
3. exit iTSfv, select 1000 songs in iTunes and change a db field (for example,
change all BPM to 1)
4. as iTunes chugs along, at some point it is likely to crash

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- I expect iTunes to finish the operation, but instead it crashes. Looking at
the error output, I get the impression it still thinks iTSfv is connected
somehow even though it has exited. Perhaps iTSfv is not 'detaching' completely
from iTunes or missing some cleanup step.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

- iTSfv 5.61.2.1
- iTunes 10.1.0.56 (but also happened under iTunes 8)
- Windows XP Home SP3, all updates

Please provide any additional information below.

- restarting iTunes does not seem to help, the problem with the crashing recurs
until I restart Windows

I really like the product, I used it to update artwork and cleanup 21,000+
tracks in iTunes, I never could have done that without it!

LyricWiki has disabled it's API due to legal issues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The lyric downloaded says that the API is disabled (on all mp3's)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The Lyric maybe :)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
5.61.1.2

Please provide any additional information below.

Itsfv does not respect IE proxy settings

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start itSFV
2. Use any function for which internet is required
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Access to Last.fm or artwork downloads

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
5.61.2.1

Please provide any additional information below.
ItSfv gives a message in the warning log that a 407 Proxy Authentication
required error was encountered (which is correct). However, it then does
not ask for the required username and password but fails (rather silently,
I'd say) instead.

Lyricsfly API

Is something in the works for a permanent key to use the Lyricsfly API?

I tested rev. 122 with a temporary key successfully, only to fetch 30%
crippled lyrics! Too bad Lyricsfly won't provide keys to end users. I'm also
curious how does one integrate a private key with open source software.

And thanks for this very useful app.

When using the Cheat functinon last.fm thinks that it is a scrobble when scrobbling from iPod

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select song in iTunes.
2. Click on "Selected Track" in iTSfv 5.60 BETA
3. Click the check box by "Increment Play Count by"
4. Change the number to a positive number.
5. Click on the "Override" button.
6. Connect iPod
7. Let iTunes sync iPod
8. Let last.fm scrobble from the iPod Sync.
9. last.fm will now bring up a screen showing the track that you just
"cheated. Wonderful if you are trying to cheat on last.fm but not
wonderful if you are trying to sync play counts.

Reverse scrobble dies on my library of over 10,000 tracks. I think that it
is because I listen to music from several different sources and not all
tracks are in iTunes. All my christian chant music is in WinAmp as I only
listen to it on Sunday at church.

Thank you,

George

Hello,

I would like to use iTSfv to download artwork.
I have followed the tutorial to configure Album Art downloader.

Now I select Tracks in Itunes and hit 'Validate Selected Tracks'
The only result I get is 'Ready 17 of 17 Tracks checked do not confirm
to iTunes Store Standard.

Now, I would like to make them conform. How do I do that?

Greetings,

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

Lyrics import source LyricWiki no longer works

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Look for lyrics of any new song using the lyrics finder.
2. For example, Love Story; Taylor Swift
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

You get this message instead of the lyrics.

"Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions from some of the major music
publishers we can no longer return lyrics through the LyricWiki API (where
this application gets some or all of its lyrics).

The lyrics for this song can be found at the following URL:
http://lyricwiki.org/Taylor Swift:Love Story

Taylor Swift:Love Story

(Please note: this is not the fault of the developer who created this
application
but is a restriction imposed by the music publishers themselves.)"

No iTunes 9 support

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using iTunes
2. uTsfv will start as normal, but if you try to use it nothing happens
3. There are no errors

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Nothing happens, if you try to do anything it just does nothing...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iTsfv 5.61.0.1 on Windows Vista Premium

Please provide any additional information below.
iTsfv will initialize the library and the XML database and states 'ready'
If you want to, for example, rename selected tracks, and you push the
button 'edit selected tracks' nothing happens.
I think it has to do with iTunes 9 and iTsfv not supporting it yet.
Hope it will soon, its a very usefull program!
