Before making the repositories publicly available, we would like to decide on the license we're going to use. @ccauet, @flokru, and myself would propose either the MIT or the LGPL licenses. Details on the licenses can be found at http://choosealicense.com/licenses/.

Please let us know which license you would prefer.

Some developments have happened in the private e5 repository. These need to be merged.

Hi everyone @e5-tu-do/doosoftware!

@flokru, @ccauet, and myself believe that it would be a good idea to make the DooSoftware stack, i.e. the repos DooCore, DooFit, and DooSelection, available to others (including collaborators in LHCb) by moving the repos to GitHub. This will allow others to contribute without the need for an internal e5 GitLab account. Another solution would have been to move the repositories to the CERN Gitlab, but this would remove any possibility of access for outgoing members.

Could everybody in the @e5-tu-do/doosoftware team please react to this message and give their approval or disapproval?
