Hello! I'm Joël Maximilian Mai, a passionate Junior Fullstack Developer based in Köln, Germany. With a strong background in web development and a Bachelor's degree in Medieninformatik, I'm dedicated to creating innovative and user-centric solutions.

I'm currently working as a Junior Fullstack Developer at IW Medien GmbH, where I specialize in TYPO3 development, frontend development, and DevOps practices. My journey in the tech industry started as a Werkstudent (student worker) at IW Medien GmbH, where I honed my skills in web development.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Medieninformatik from Technische Hochschule Köln. During my academic journey, I achieved outstanding results, including a remarkable bachelor's thesis.

I'm enthusiastic about taking on challenging projects. Some of my recent endeavors include designing a user-centric web app based on DIN EN ISO 9241-220 standards and creating a Progressive Web App (PWA) with Peer-to-Peer communication for sharing recipes.

When I'm not coding, I enjoy creating music and editing videos or photos. These hobbies provide a creative outlet and a refreshing change of pace from my rather logical work.
